Fun and carefree. Kat was encouraging and gave pointers on how to tackle being overwhelmed by a large scene. An enjoyable experience

This painting was inspired by the journey we experience from pain to healing. The tears symbolize release, the bold colors represent the pain, while the vibrant colors reflect hope, renewal, and transformation. Through this piece, I wanted to express that even in our deepest struggles, healing is possible. It is a reminder that brokenness can be transformed into strength, beauty, and new life.

This photo was actually a portrait i volunteered to do for an old coworker. I used to be a fryer, pizza cook, and grill cook at a restaurant and every single day I worked I got to work with Angel. Angel made my crappy days better every single time without fail, his humor, his smiles, and his low raspy voice always cheered me up. I had recently got back into portraits again due to having some commissioned ones, and I had extra time on my hands so I offered to draw one for angel. He sent me a refe

Title or Location: Buck
This 11x14" oil painting was inspired by a picture captured on a trail camera. It was taken at our cabin located in Lava Ranch in Southeast Idaho. The environment is lush with aspen trees, pines, and wildflowers native to the area (yarrow, lumpens, indian paintbrush, and columbine) to name a few. Bucks like this are illusive and not seen very often. This 8-point's antlers were still in velvet in the spring, making this picture even more special.... a perfect moment captured for wildlif

I did this piece one month after I started painting for the first time in my life. I have only been painting since 2020 and I painted furiously for like 3 months and 2020 and then didn't paint much just here and there and now I'm back to painting constantly

My art "Authenticity"This piece represents my journey of transformation ? a journey of becoming the truest and most authentic version of myself. It is about releasing limiting beliefs, breaking free from old patterns, and leaving behind the masks I once wore to fit expectations and seek acceptance. The act of removing the mask symbolizes letting go of the false identities that no longer serve me and embracing who I truly am.At its heart, this artwork carries a powerful message: be aut

This is Marley, one of my loopy border collies. I managed to take the reference photo for this drawing in one of his quiet moments, while he was hugging his favourite toy and stopping his brother Bob from stealing it! It was a challenge drawing him on pastelmat as I'm not too experienced with it but quiete happy with how he came out! He's drawn in a mix of faber castel polychromos, caran d'ache luminance and some derwent drawing pencils.

I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.
